“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11 (NIV)
God is our Creator, and He is worthy of worship. God also made us “in His own image” (Genesis 1:27) as people who find joy and purpose in being creative and in using the gifts and talents He has fashioned in us. Therefore, at Wellspring we value worship and creative arts. They are a meaningful part of our Sunday morning worship gatherings.
At our Sunday morning gatherings, Wellspring has a full band led by worship leader and pastor Dave McPherson. He and the team of drummers, guitarists, bassists, pianists, vocalists, and other instrumentalists serve to lead the congregation in a time of contemporary worship through song. To learn more about our worship team or to get involved in music ministry at Wellspring, email Dave McPherson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Musicians’ Life Group—Wellspring also has a life group specifically for musicians and vocalists from novice to professional. Anyone with musical interest is welcome! To learn more about this life group or any of our life groups, click here.
At special services or events, Wellspring Church will often incorporate dramas, dances and the arts in order to engage people’s hearts and illustrate God’s truth in new and insightful ways. This might include live paintings, interpretive dance, dramatic readings, monologues, skits, or even a one-act play. To learn more about our drama and arts team or to get involved in this area, email Dave McPherson at email@example.com.
Stage Design/Video Production
Stage Design and Video Production are behind-the-scenes roles that are incredibly significant at Wellspring Church. Not only does The Drop, a video announcing Wellspring’s upcoming events, play every week, we have many other videos that are used in various ways in our Sunday morning worship gatherings. People gifted in videography and video editing are always needed. We are also consistently looking those who have an eye for ways to aesthetically configure a functional stage so that people feel welcomed and comfortable. To learn more about Stage Design/Video Production or to get involved, email Dave McPherson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
