One of our three core values at Wellspring Church is to grow. We want all believers to grow in their faith and in the “grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” so that they might “live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work” (2 Peter 3:18; Colossians 1:10).

As with any relationship, we grow closer to someone through spending time with him or her. The same is true of a relationship with Jesus. We can spend time with Jesus by worshiping Him, reading the Bible, praying, giving thanks, listening to His voice, and watching for His guiding hand and direction in our lives. We can also grow by spending time in community with other believers who can challenge us to take steps of faith and live out our beliefs in greater ways. Growing with others in community is discipleship, and we are all called to be disciples of Christ.

As Wellspring, opportunities to grow with God are abundant. First, we have our corporate Sunday morning gathering, and everyone is welcome. In addition, we have several mid-week gatherings, including a men’s bible study, a women’s bible study, and a bible study geared specifically for 6th through 12th graders called, The Wave. We also have amazing life groups that meet in homes and even opportunities for one-on-one mentorship with a pastor or other seasoned leader.
