40 day devotion introductory letter

Dear Wellspring,

I want to invite you to join me on a daily devotional journey this Easter season. Friends, family, and visitors are welcome to join in! Wellspring members have contributed heart-felt devotions to this book so that every reader may connect with Christ and walk with Him more intimately.  No doubt, God will use these days to individual draw you closer to Him.  I also believe He will bless His church at Wellspring as we continue to grow in faith as a community.

This simple booklet is designed to help us journey through the Lenten season. There is one devotional per day, beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 18th and continuing through Easter. Each Sunday will include a scripture from our morning message allowing you to take notes in service (or by listening to the archives sermons via our website) and further reflect.

I want to say a special thank you to those who have graciously contributed to this devotion guide.  Kudos to Ginger McPherson, our editor.  I also want to thank Alexander Zafris, who created our cover art for both part one and part two of these devotion booklets.

I pray that through this journey the Lord will lead each of us to experience Him in a deeper and more passionate way.  For those who believe, the journey to the cross is the most significant time of year.  Through His death, we find great freedom and purpose for living.  By daily walking with Jesus, I believe we will find a greater eternal perspective amidst the daily struggles of this world.  As we come to Resurrection Sunday, I pray that our worship of the Father and celebration of the Savior are spectacular!

I wish you God’s best as we embark on this journey together.

Pastor Chris Stull

I’m so excited to begin this! Hearing from The Church and reflecting on what God is speaking to The Body is such an incredible opportunity.
